Pasta Making Resources, as suggested in Recipes for Unusual Gluten Free Pasta

Recently a bowl of 4,000 year old pasta made from millet flour was found in China. This alone indicates that people were making pasta in home kitchens using simple tools, without the use of modern technology and equipment.

In homage to that ancient people that made pasta, all of the recipes in my new gluten free pasta book: Recipes for Unusual Gluten Free Pasta: Pierogis, Dumplings, Desserts and More! can be made using tools found in most home kitchens.

However, there are some tools that can facilitate the pasta-making process, helping you to make more uniform, professional-looking pasta in a shorter amount of time.

And yes, you can find my version of that ancient millet pasta in  Recipes for Unusual Gluten Free Pasta: Pierogis, Dumplings, Desserts and More!

Ravioli Maker
(good for ravioli and Turkish piruhi)

Ravioli Wheel and Pasta Cutter
(also great for making those pro-looking ridges on lasagna noodles)

Pasta Maker (for perfectly uniform noodles)

Spaetzle Maker
(for the German spaetzle-lover in your life)

KitchenAid Pasta Roller Attachment
(a great attachment for KitchenAid stand mixers)

Pierogi Maker
(Chocolate Pierogis filled with Chocolate Ganache, anyone?)

Gnocchi Board
Why not try out the Festival Squash Gnocchi on this board?

Spiral Vegetable Slicer
(for making all kinds of raw vegetable noodles)

And of course, to make use of these tools, it would help to have a copy of my book!

Happy pasta making!
