My Gluten Free Weekly Meal Plan


For this week's meal plan my main issue is that I'm having people over for dinner two nights in a row.

My plan? Serve Mediterranean & Middle Eastern tapas both nights.

It's the easiest thing to do, as most tapas can be served at room temp so I don't have to worry about timing everything so that it's warm. All I do is arrange everything on serving dishes, then pack it up and store them until the next night. It's a little trick I learned while in the Middle East and watching women cook for big families for the whole week. They made salads, cheese, sliced veggies, and all kinds of things to last for days.

So I've included a list of a few of the things I'll be serving, in case you want to have your own assortment of tapas!

Saturday
Steamed rice with sautéed greens, peas, and fried turkey bacon
Sunday
Monday
I’m having friends over for dinner two nights in a row, so I’m doing Mediterranean tapas that can be served twice over:
* Mediterranean Roasted Red Peppers and Honey and Herb Root Veggies from Living with Oral Allergy Syndrome
* Greek ragout (recipe to come)
* Pre-made dolmades
* Assortment of olives

For dessert:
* Bowls of nuts and seeds
* Sliced fruit


For drinks:
* Turkish Coffee (with dessert)
Tuesday
Having a friend over and serving an assortment of the previous day’s tapas
Wednesday
One-Pot Chili-Lime Rice and Black Bean Dinner and any leftovers from Tuesday
Thursday
Friday
Scrounging through leftovers
