Before reading on, please note that I am currently based in Canada.

If you are interested in having a product reviewed, you would be responsible for any cross-border shipping, duty fees, or issues relating to shipping food products unless you currently distribute within Canada.

At present P&GF averages 12,500 unique visitors and 23,00 pageviews on a monthly basis, with over 7,000 followers.

In general, my readers and I strive to live healthy, natural, allergy free and eco-friendly on a budget.  Poor and Gluten Free shares gluten free/allergy free recipes (free of corn syrup, GMOs and highly processed ingredients), DIY tutorials, frugal and sustainability tips, and articles on health, allergies and natural living.  If you think your company is a good fit for us, we’d be happy to hear from you!

Sponsored Posts: We’d be happy to discuss writing sponsored posts for your company (outside of the one post included in the advertising package).  Sponsored posts can be informative in nature, i.e. the history, ethics, charity work of your brand/company, or recipes that include your product.  Sponsored posts will also be promoted across our social media platforms.  Please contact me to discuss!

If you are interested in one or more of these sponsorship and advertising options, please contact me to discuss further.  Package rates can be negotiated.  I hope you will consider joining us, as we have much more planned for 2013!

A disclaimer for my readers:

Although I may accept products for review and monetary compensation for sponsorship and advertising, all opinions expressed are my own.  Acceptance of a product for review is not a guarantee of a positive review.

While blogging is a labour of love rather than money, I have chosen to accept sponsorship for Poor and Gluten Free in order to cover the cost of my ingredients, time spent researching and writing articles and reviewing products so that I can continue to expand the blog and provide quality information.

  1. Hey Danielle!

My name is Kinsey Van Druten. I am the Nutritional Consultant for Immuno Laboratories in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are widely recognized as one of the leading food and environmental allergy testing facilities in the world. We offer the Immuno Bloodprint which has been helping people “Eat Well, Feel Well and Live Well” for years. Our blood test can help identify food intolerances or hidden food allergies that may be the cause of chronic conditions such as arthritis, A.D.D. (and hyperactivity), autism, chronic fatigue, diabetes, I.B.S., migraine headaches, otitis media, and more.

The reason I am reaching out to you is to offer you the chance to personally get a feel for our test in hopes to share with your readers! As you know, kids, teens, and adults suffer from underlying food sensitivities they don’t even know they have; or better yet, choose not to associate “x” food with “x” symptom. Our goal is to find each client’s unique food sensitivities so that they are able to find recipes specifically tailored to them for their body and not because it is “vegan,” “paleo,” or “gluten-free.” Kids in particular, are more susceptible today than ever before with developing food allergies. How much easier would it be for the busy parents who read P&GF to know exactly what they should and should not be packing in their children’s lunch?

If you would be interested in finding out first hand your own food sensitivities, please send an email subjected “Poor & Gluten Free” with your contact information to

We look forward to serving you and your readers!

  3. Hi Danielle! I am desperately trying to figure out how to "contact you"? My wife and I have an incredible gluten free, grain free, and non-GMO garbanzo bean pasta call Dr. Noodles by Brenda. We would like to do many of the things you offer, do we reach you. Help. thanks Steve would love to send you samples

    1. Hi Steve, my apologies if you've sent an email and I missed it, I've been very behind on blogging and emails lately. Your noodles look great, but I'm based in Canada now and I know that shipping up here is sometimes not worthwhile for US-based companies. If you're still interested, please send me an email at bellyopudge AT gmail DOT com

  4. Hi Danielle,

s great to see someone who can really write and cook,As a chef i've only managed the cooking part.
I was writing to hopefully get some permissions to add links from your site and to use the odd fully credited photograph.

I am just starting out, am from Newcastle and live in Australia.

I also have a book coming out soon and wondered if you would like a copy.

    Kind Regards,

    1. Hi Gavin, what would you be using the photos for? Thanks for reaching out!

  5. Hi, Thank you for your books and your blog. I wanted to kindly let you know of a minor error in your blog, you might want to add in the word 'free' you are talking about canning and BPA, so I thought it important that you know about the word thats missing as it can change the whole meaning of your paragraph. I couldn't find a contact form on line. So I apologise for writing via this method. Here:-

First, a note on why I *try* to avoid canned food. I'm not perfect, sometimes it can't be helped. I'm allergic to most fresh fruit and can only have it cooked. Sometimes it's hard to can everything myself and end up buying canned fruit. But I do try to look for BPA cans when possible.

  6. May I have your recipe for homemade chicken noodle soup - I’m having an Epstein-Barr flare up

I'd love to hear from you so go ahead, leave a comment!
